Plastic insert glides without clip
These glides are economical, one-piece products that get inserted into a tube with a mallet or pressed in by machine power. Plastic insert glides without clip are sized to fit the ID of the tube and are retained in the tube by a frictional fit to the ID of the tube. Because these inserts serve as a long-life glide, they are constructed from durable materials, including a special blend of impact modified nylon (PA6) that provides resilient performance and impact resistance. Plastic glides without clip are typically used in fast-food restaurants and food courts.
Plastic insert glides with clip
In addition to being secured by the frictional fit between the plastic body of the glide and the ID of the tube, these glides utilize an angled spring clip made of hardened steel, which inserts easily but then bites into the ID of the tube to prevent accidental or intentional removal of the glide in heavy wear environments such as fast-food restaurants, food courts, and other high traffic settings.

Full radius plastic caps insert into the tube with force because there is an interference fit between the ID of the tube and the OD of the body of the plastic cap. Ball Glide Plastic Caps

Ball glide plastic caps offer an economical way to close off the tube. The ball glide plastic cap gets inserted into the tube with force because there is an interference fit between the ID of the tube and the OD of the body of the plastic cap. Ball glide plastic caps are made of durable nylon and feature a decorative rounded shape that hides the cut edge of the tube and can be used as a glide on legs that are not perpendicular to the floor. This design also features a more rugged and tighter fit to the ID of the tube to better resist dislodging.
